Description
Gearhart Golf Links, a links course in Gearhart, Oregon, United States, plays 18 holes at par 72 across 5,741–6,176 yards of dunes and rolling links terrain. Designed by Chandler Egan and opened in 1892, it is one of the oldest courses on the West Coast. The layout has character across its full card. Hole 1 sets the tone with four fairway bunkers lining the fairway. Hole 5, under 400 yards, introduces a water hazard and a twisting fairway. Hole 11 is a par-3 stretching to 262 yards with a bunker complex on the right. Hole 12, the toughest par-4, sends the tee shot through a chute toward an elevated green. The 18th closes at 640 yards, winding uphill with the clubhouse as backdrop. The clubhouse carries a Scottish character. The pro shop offers scorecards for the Craic upon request. Gearhart Golf Links is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Oregon.
