Astoria Golf & Country Club

Astoria Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole links and parkland course in Oregon, United States, designed by George Junior and Charles Haldeman and opened in 1924. The layout moves through rolling sand dunes, a terrain that shapes the character of the round from the first tee. Hole 1, a par-4 of 378 yards, sets the tone early — the drive must be placed down the left side to open up the hole. The club has hosted the Oregon Coast Invitational, and Golf Week Magazine ranked it #89 in its Top 100 Classic Courses in the United States in 1997. Practice facilities include a 13-acre area with a double-sided all-grass driving range and an indoor heated building with four hitting stations, two practice greens plus two additional putting greens, and a sand bunker and chipping area. The pro shop carries Titleist, FootJoy, TaylorMade, Cleveland/Srixon, Puma, Cobra, and Ping, with custom fitting and Trackman technology available. The dining room, led by Executive Chef Jonathan Jones, focuses on local favorites and regional cuisine.
