    The course was just redesigned by Gil Hanse and is much better than the old. Even though the views are amazing and makes Gávea a unique course in the world, it has 2 major issues - Poor maintenance and the fact is a private club only playable by invitation, or you if your a lucky tourist and can pass through the gate.
