Ranked among Golf Digest's Top 100 Courses, Gateway Golf & Country Club in Gateway, Florida is an 18-hole, par-72 private layout designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1989. The course plays between 4,850 and 6,981 yards across terrain shaped by marsh, water hazards, bunkers, native vegetation, cypress and pine trees, and mounds. Practice facilities are extensive: a double-sided driving range redesigned by Ron Garl, a putting green that mirrors course green speed and condition, four short game areas, two practice holes (a par 3 and a par 4), and PGA Junior Golf Camps led by golf professional staff. The Dining Room serves classic country club cuisine and modern contemporary options using fresh local ingredients, with lake and course views. The Grille Room provides casual dining for lunch and drinks after a round. Additional amenities include Cellar 55 — a wine room holding 1,600 bottles — six Har-Tru lighted tennis courts, a resort-style swimming pool with lap lanes, a state-of-the-art fitness center with personal training and 20 group exercise classes per week, and two pickleball courts.
