Edwalton Golf Centre

Edwalton Golf Centre is a public, 9-hole parkland course in Edwalton, England, designed by Frank Pennink. It is rated 3.7 by 60+ Hole19 golfers. The layout combines trees lining the fairways, bunkers, ponds, ditches, uphill and downhill slopes, and tiered greens. Hole 1 is an uphill par 5 with trees on both sides and a blind approach over the crest to two greenside bunkers. Hole 2, the Stroke Index 1, plays downhill on a dogleg left with a narrow green guarded by a right bunker. Hole 5 adds a pond and ditch on either side of a tree-lined fairway, with two bunkers flanking the green and a pond behind it. Yardage ranges from 356 to 490 yards. A 7-bay driving range operates without booking, with 30 or 60 ball buckets of premium 2-piece range balls. PGA qualified coaches offer 30 and 60 minute one-to-one lessons, and GoGolfing beginner group sessions are available with equipment provided. The clubhouse serves stonebaked pizza, takeaway snacks and drinks, and has an onsite bar. Spalding rental sets and club hire are available from the pro shop.
