Dyker Beach Golf Course sits in the southwest corner of Brooklyn, just below the Verrazano Bridge and across from the Atlantic Ocean. The 18-hole, 6,438-yard par 72 layout was originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1897 and redesigned by Jon Van Kleek in 1935, giving it a long history as a waterside public course. Beyond the course itself, the facility includes a recently renovated event space with two catering halls, a full-service bar and grill, and a dedicated ceremony site — making it a practical choice for weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings. Tees and greens are in very nice condition, fairways still need work. Carts are new, but cart paths need work.

Tristan Massalay-EllisJuly 26, 2022Played 7/22/22 Beautiful course with decent pace. Ranger kept things moving to the best of his ability. I arrived solo for a 5:42am tee time. I am a fool and didn’t check in so I had to wait a few to get setup. I ended up going out with 3 random golfers at 6:08. At tee off it was close to 80 degrees. The fairways were running nicely. The greens were initially slow, however by 7:45 they sped up. The layout of this course is simple and clean. A few of the par 3’s are scenic, making you forget you’re in Brooklyn. Finished the round by 10:10. Started at 6:08.
