Since the changes (50+ bunkers removed) and new agronomy team, the course has improved immensely. Now much more playable and enjoyable. Today it was in fine condition for the Captain’s Prize. Super greens and great definition on fairways.

The course has gone through a major overhaul with 50% of the bunkers removed and fairways made much wider. Overall a big improvement. Big investment made. Though has not improved my score 😁

This is a course that I find people regularly complain coming off the course. The front nine is good but the back nine is a lottery. You can’t play here after 3pm (earlier in winter) on a sunny day or you will be blinded playing the 15th, 17th and 18th because all are uphill and directly into the sun. This has happened me numerous times The 12th (index 1), 13th and 15th can be Lottery holes were good shots get needlessly punished and poor shots get up OK. It’s a shame that the back nine doesn’t match the front nine which is tough but fair.
