Charlesland Golf Club, located in County Wicklow, Ireland, is a par-72, 18-hole layout stretching 6,169 metres from the back tees — a signature product of Eddie Hackett, Ireland's first and most prolific golf course architect. Hackett's hallmarks are all present: generous landing areas, large greens, and dramatic elevated tees. The front nine runs alongside the Irish Sea with a links character, while the back nine transitions into parkland. Standout holes include the par-3 13th, played from a lofty tee 229 metres down to the green, and the short 17th, where a family of swans has taken up residence behind the green. The 18th is a fitting closer — a double dogleg measuring 562 metres from the championship tees, with water guarding both sides of the fairway before the green.
