Description
Dalton Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole private course in Dalton, Georgia, United States, designed by Gary Player and opened in 1915. The layout runs through tree-lined corridors with TifTuf Bermuda fairways, TifEagle Bermuda greens, Tour angle sand bunkers, and Scottish Links Fescue in native areas. The club has hosted the 2024 NAIA Men's Golf Championship, the 2025 Georgia Open, the 2027 and 2028 NAIA Women's Golf Championships, and the Conference Championship of the Collegiate Conference of the South in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Practice options include a dedicated putting green, a one-acre short game complex with greenside and fairway bunker practice adjacent to the first tee, and a teaching facility offering individual lessons, clinics, and video and swing analysis with a PGA Professional team. The pro shop, operated by PGA Professional Russ Allstun, carries clubs, clothing, and accessories, with custom fitting available.
