Cottonwood Hills Golf Club

Cottonwood Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole public championship course in Kansas, designed by Sir Nick Faldo with Guy Hockley as lead architect. The layout is built across sand hill terrain with natural vegetation, giving it a character closely resembling links courses found in England, Scotland, and Ireland. Faldo himself has noted that the rolling sand hills and tumbling dunes recall the great Scottish courses where the game originated. The design philosophy behind Cottonwood Hills is straightforward: a course should look as natural as possible, working with the existing contour of the land rather than against it. The goal is a layout that challenges and inspires golfers while remaining, above all, genuinely fun to play.
