Set in Scottsdale, Arizona, Coronado Golf Course is a public executive course that opened in 1965, designed by Milton Coggins, Greg H. Nash, and Jeff D. Hardin. The layout runs 1,850 yards across 9 holes at par 31. The pro shop stocks drinks, snacks, new and used golf balls, gloves, hats, and tees, with rental clubs, push carts, and golf carts available. A restroom is located near hole 6. Practice facilities are a clear draw here. The fully lighted driving range is open from 7 AM to 9 PM and has been voted The Best Driving Range in Phoenix, earning New Times Best of Phoenix recognition in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025. Putting greens and chipping areas are also open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM. Outside professionals may use the practice facilities on a per-session basis.

Dimitri Varkov IIMay 21, 2016Greens are horrible! Patches of brown, dead grass. A swamp land between holes 3 and 4, and the sand traps are more like compressed dirt. They charge WAY too much ($17 for one person plus cart) for how crappy the course is. I paid $23 last week at Augusta Ranch for 18 holes and a cart.
