Commonwealth National Golf Club

Commonwealth National Golf Club, a private 18-hole, par-72 layout in Pennsylvania, spans 5,201 to 7,117 yards and was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, opening in 1990. The course moves across gently rolling land threaded with ponds, streams, wetlands, and tall stands of oak. Golf Digest has ranked it #40 in its Best in State list and consistently places it among the top 25 courses in Pennsylvania. The club has hosted the Pennsylvania State Amateur Better Ball of Partners Championship, the Super Seniors PGA Tour Vantage Classic Pro-Am, the Mike Schmidt Pro-Celebrity Challenge, USGA major events, and Pennsylvania Golf Association and Golf Association of Philadelphia major events. Practice facilities include a two-tiered driving range with grass and premium synthetic turf, a 5,800-square-foot putting green, a three-acre short game area with multiple bunkers, and a 600-square-foot indoor facility with Trackman and Foresight GC Quad technology for video analysis and club fitting. The Golf Shop also offers custom fitting with Trackman and Foresight technology. The Grill serves as the main dining area, with a stone fireplace, large bar, seasonal drink specials, and flat screen TVs. The Cattail Lounge is a seasonal outdoor bar with firepits.
