Club de Golf Jávea

Club de Golf Jávea was designed by Francisco Moreno and opened in 1981, sitting about 100 kilometres from Alicante on the road toward Valencia. Sheltered from the wind by the Cabo de San Antonio headland, the course enjoys a favourable microclimate year-round and is set within a natural pine forest. The layout is built on a gentle slope and plays over 18 holes, though the routing is achieved by playing a 9-hole course twice from different tee positions. The fairways are lined with palm trees, pines, and orange trees, and the greens are well maintained throughout. Hole 4/13 features a green large enough to accommodate two flag positions. Strategically, the course demands precision rather than length. Thirty-four bunkers are spread across the layout, and every green carries subtle breaks that can be difficult to read. The shortest hole measures 120 metres at the 16th, while the longest stretches to 475 metres at the 5th.
