Choyo Country Club is a 36-hole hillside course in Sanyoonoda, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, set across gently rolling terrain connected by gradual slopes. The outward nine winds through pine trees, offering a calm and measured layout. Scoring well here depends on handling the longer par-4s at holes 2, 6, and 7, where distance management is key. The inward nine takes on a different character, wrapping around a wild-grass lake frequented by flocks of white herons. The scene carries a painterly quality, and the abundance of woodland throughout the course adds further definition to the layout.
