Carthage Golf Course

Carthage Golf Course is a municipal 18-hole layout in Carthage, Missouri, open to the public and built around a terrain that keeps scoring honest. Two ponds, two winding creeks, more than 30 bunkers, narrow rolling fairways, and a wooded backdrop all come into play across a yardage range of 4,923 to 6,413 yards at par 71. The course has hosted the Maple Leaf tournament. Practice options are thorough. The east-side driving range has a 15-person hitting area, more than 10 targets, and a sheltered hitting bay. A dedicated 8,000-square-foot putting green includes both level and sloped sections, and a short-game area provides a 1,200-square-foot green, a practice bunker, and a 35-yard Bermuda grass approach zone. Golf instruction is also available on site. The clubhouse includes a snack bar with food and beverage services and a pro shop stocked with essentials and golf gifts.
