Carlton Oaks Golf Course

Carlton Oaks Golf Course sits in a river-valley setting in Santee, California, where a meandering creek, mature trees, and sparkling lakes define the layout across 18 holes. Designed by Perry Dye and opened in 1958, the public course plays from 5,039 to 7,410 yards. The par-five 18th stretches to 540 yards to close the round. The course has hosted PGA Tour Qualifying School, U.S. Open qualifiers, U.S. Amateur qualifiers, Canadian Tour qualifier, San Diego Junior Masters, NCAA Western Region Finals, and the NCAA Championship in 1974. It is rated 4.0 and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in California. Practice facilities include an all-grass driving range with private instructional areas, a putting green, and a chipping green rebuilt in February 2013. The Oaks Bar & Grill overlooks the course and offers a diverse menu of dishes and appetizers across multiple television screens. The pro shop carries Carlton Oaks-branded merchandise. A lodge with an outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool is also on site.
