Description
Caracas Country Club holds a unique place in Venezuelan golf history as the sport's pioneer in the country. Its origins trace back to the Las Barrancas grounds, where it operated as the Caracas Golf Club with a distinctive layout — a single green served by nine fairways arranged in a daisy-like pattern. This eventually gave way to a conventional nine-hole course suited to the era and the terrain available. The club's next major chapter came with the construction of the Blandín course, developed in two stages from 1930 onward. That project gave Venezuela its first 18-hole layout, a milestone the club continues to carry. Today, Caracas Country Club offers a full 18-hole course in the Capital District of Caracas.
