Caird Park Golf Course

Caird Park Golf Course is a well-established parkland layout in Dundee, Scotland, that was recorded as the busiest course in Europe in the mid-1980s. Opened in 1923, its 18 holes offer an easy walk through avenues of trees, with views north to the Sidlaw Hills. The course starts accessibly enough, but difficulty builds steadily as the round progresses. The greens are a particular test, presenting varied defences that reward decisive shot-making. Easy to walk does not mean easy to score. Beyond the main 18-hole layout, the site includes a 9-hole course, an athletics stadium, nature trails, and the historic 16th-century Mains Castle.
