Butternut Creek Golf Course

Butternut Creek Golf Course sits in downtown Blairsville, Georgia, below Ivy Log Mountain, and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Georgia. Owned and operated by the Union County Recreation Department, it offers 18 holes that each play differently — no two are remotely alike. The course stretches to 6,400-plus yards, with 4 to 6 tee boxes per hole to suit a wide range of players. Rolling valley holes, challenging slopes, mounds, undulating greens, and elevation changes appear throughout, and water comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes. Fairways and tees are Tifton 419 Bermuda, while the greens are Penncross Bent Grass. Roughs and mounds feature common Bermuda and love grass. Mountain views are on offer from every hole.
