Bosch Hoek Golf Course

Bosch Hoek Golf Course sits in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on land that formed part of an original voortrekker farm settled in the 1850s. The course is close to the N3 highway yet well screened by trees, keeping it accessible without any intrusion from traffic noise. The layout plays 18 holes across two distinct nine-hole loops. The outward nine measures 2,942 metres and the inward nine 2,918 metres, making this a course of moderate length that still offers enough variety to engage lower-handicap golfers. The par-5 3rd is the longest hole at 517 metres, while the par-3 5th — the signature hole — plays over water and is the shortest on the course. The surrounding countryside is a genuine asset, and the residential estate attached to the property is deliberately small, limited to 35 properties, and kept clear of the playing areas. The result is a relaxed, charming country course well suited to a peaceful round of golf.
