Boot Ranch

Boot Ranch is an 18-hole private course in Texas, United States, designed by Hal Sutton across ridges, canyons, and along Palo Alto Creek. Golfweek has ranked it among the top residential courses in the country. Sutton singles out three holes by name. Hole 3 is the number-one handicap hole and plays the hardest tee shot on the course. Hole 10 he calls the Mona Lisa of the golf course. Hole 14, which he named Mighty Mouse, is a short hole with a mighty bite to it. The practice setup includes a three-sided driving range, a one-acre 18-hole par-2 putting circuit lighted for night play, a three-target short range, and a three-hole short course playable as nine holes from 80 to over 200 yards. Golf professionals give free clinics to juniors in the community. The Golf Shop carries branded apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, along with custom club fitting. The men's locker room includes a sauna, steam rooms, and a grill room overlooking the Practice Park. The ladies' locker room has a social room with a balcony, and a covered pavilion is available after the round.
