Belmullet Golf Club - Carne Golf Links (Kilmore) is a 9-hole links course in County Mayo, Ireland, widely regarded as one of the finest examples of natural links golf in the world. The original layout was the last course designed by Eddie Hackett, and many consider it his greatest work. Nine additional holes, conceived by Ally McIntosh and Jim Engh from Hackett's own sketches and vision, are now integrated with the back nine of the original course to form a single routing known as "The Wild Atlantic Dunes." Rated number 12 in Ireland, the course weaves through an awe-inspiring dune system that is arguably the largest of its kind anywhere in the world. Raw and untamed, the layout grows more dramatic with each hole, delivering traditional links golf in a truly remote and idyllic setting on Ireland's west coast.
