Description
Bartow Golf Course is a piece of Florida golf history, originally opening as a 9-hole layout in 1919 before expanding to a full 18-hole links-style course in December 1926, designed by Donald Ross. The par-72 layout in Bartow offers four sets of tees ranging from 5,200 to 6,600 yards, with no surrounding homes — just open fairways, mature oaks, and peaceful wildlife. Challenging greens, casual doglegs, and water hazards spread throughout the course keep every round engaging. Affectionately known as "the TOW," this course has hosted the Youth Villa Classic for over 50 years, raising funds for the Sheriff's Youth Ranch in Bartow. It is a well-loved community fixture with a long tournament tradition to match its classic Donald Ross character.
