Atlanta Country Club

Atlanta Country Club has hosted the Atlanta Classic, the Tournament Players Championship, the USGA Senior Amateur, and the USGA Women's Amateur — a tournament record that reflects the course's standing since it opened in 1966. Designed by Willard C. Byrd, the private 18-hole layout in Georgia rolls across hills threaded by Sope Creek. Hole 13 carries particular historical weight, playing alongside the ruins of a Confederate paper mill from the Civil War era. The course appears on America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses.
