nice dry course even in the winter time

I've had the pleasure of playing Athy golf club on many occasions in the last 4 years. It is a lovely parkland 18 hole course. It's challenging off the Championship tees as well as the more forward tees. The greens are very fast in summer and kept very well. It's built on heathland which drains well and is rarely closed in bad weather. The members there are very welcoming and friendly. They hold many open competitions during the summer and it's fees to play are not expensive. There's nowhere nicer to spend time on a nice summers day! Enjoy.
