Aso Sky Blue Golf Resort is an 18-hole championship course designed by Honma Golf, Japan's renowned club manufacturer, set on the highland plateau of Mount Aso in Takamori, Kumamoto Prefecture. The layout sits within Japan's first national park, where cypress and cedar forests frame the course on all sides. Holes 3 through 7 run through a wooded valley reached by a 130-metre tunnel, while the remaining holes spread across the summit plateau of the Aso outer caldera rim, offering wide highland views. Greens are a single-green system seeded with premium bentgrass (Springs Bent), designed for consistent, high-quality putting surfaces year-round.
