Description
Arklow Golf Links sits on the County Wicklow coast of Ireland, a links course designed by Hawtree & Taylor and opened in 1927. Meandering fairways wind through rugged sand dunes with the Irish Sea as a constant backdrop. The 18-hole layout is semi-private and rated 4.7 by 70+ Hole19 golfers. The course hosted the Southern Region of the Irish PGA Championship in both 2001 and 2002. The pro shop stocks an extensive range of golf apparel and accessories, with rental clubs, trolleys, electric trolleys, and buggies available seven days a week. Locker rooms include lockers, a changing area, showers, and a drying area. Link's Restaurant is open seven days a week and sits on the coast overlooking the Irish Sea and the links course. The bar serves drinks and meals from a bar menu, along with tea, coffee, and snacks.
