Ancient City International Golf Club

Ancient City International Golf Club sits near Lijiang Old Town in Yunnan, China, about 8 kilometres from the historic centre. Designed by American architect Joe Obringer and opened in November 2005, the 18-hole layout stretches to 7,661 yards along the shores of Wenbihai Lake with Yulong Snow Mountain forming the backdrop. The course divides neatly into two contrasting halves. The front nine plays through mountainous terrain, demanding a more tactical approach, while the back nine opens up along the lake, introducing water hazards and broad views across the water. Together, the two nines offer a varied round that balances challenge with scenic reward.
