Amherstview Golf Course

Amherstview Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 public layout in Ontario, Canada, stretching to 6,232 yards with trees, bunkers, water hazards, ponds, and rough throughout the design. Several holes stand out. On hole 3, a par 3, tee shots must carry an apple tree 20 yards short of the green. Hole 5 is a slightly downhill par 3 where hitting the green in regulation is a major accomplishment. Hole 6, a par 4 from the back tee, is rated the number-one handicap hole on the course. Hole 13 rounds out the par-3 highlights as an uphill test regarded as the best par three on the layout. Practice options include a driving range with real grass and real golf balls, plus lessons with lead instructor Donald Thomas. The pro shop handles merchandise and bookings. The bar is open seven days a week from 11:00 am. The course is one of the most-played courses in Ontario on Hole19.
