Ames Golf & Country Club

Ames Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Ames, Iowa, United States, designed by Donald Sechrest and opened in 1974. Playing to a par of 71 from a maximum of 6,675 yards, the layout runs across lush fairways, perfectly-groomed greens, and strategically-positioned lakes. Practice options are extensive. A two-acre teeing ground with nine target posts serves as the driving range, backed by a large practice putting green and a dedicated short game area covering chipping, pitching, lob shots, and a practice bunker. A year-round Trackman golf simulator adds an indoor option in any season. The clubhouse includes a formal dining room with a wide array of menu options alongside a club room for casual dining, a full bar, locker rooms, a banquet room, and a golf shop on the lower level managed by Director of Golf Scott Nugent.
