Alyth Golf Club (Alyth)

Alyth Golf Club (Alyth) is an 18-hole heathland course in Alyth, Scotland, United Kingdom, opened in 1894 and designed by Old Tom Morris and James Braid. The layout stretches to 6,264 yards across rolling terrain lined with pines, silver birch, and heather. Several holes carry traditional names that reflect the character of the ground. Hole 1, Over the Brae, plays up and over a hill on a slight dog-leg left. Hole 3, The Teuchats' Tryst, is an uphill par 3 to a large sloping green. Hole 4, Horse Shoe, features a horse-shoe green guarded by a right-hand bunker. Practice facilities include a 7-bay driving range (£2 for 25 balls or £5 for 75 balls, contactless payment available), a putting green, and a chipping and bunker practice area. The pro shop stocks tokens for the driving range and trolley hire. The clubhouse restaurant serves snacks and meals made on premises with fresh and local ingredients, with the kitchen open 10am to 6pm daily. A bar, extensive lounge, and locker rooms with shower facilities are also available. The course is semi-private.
