Zavidovo PGA National

Zavidovo PGA National is an 18-hole, par-72 links course in Tver Oblast, Russia, designed by Dave Sampson of European Golf Design and opened in 2012. The layout stretches to 6,700 metres across heathland terrain with lakes and sand bunkers planted with heather throughout. The course has been recognised as one of the best new golf facilities in the world recommended for tour events, and has hosted the Golf Mad Moscow Open, the XII Tver Oblast Cup, the Zavidovo Masters 55+, and the Open Club Championship. Practice facilities are extensive. The driving range includes 8 covered bays and over 1,500 m² of natural-turf tee areas. Three full-size short-game greens are available alongside a 9-hole natural-turf Himalayas putting course and practice bunkers. The Zavidovo Golf Academy runs junior programmes, two individual swing studios, and a GC2 Foresight Sports simulator with launch monitor. Accommodation on site includes the Clubhouse Boutique Hotel, Radisson Resort Zavidovo, Radisson Residences Zavidovo, and the Yamskaya Hotel.
