Youngstown Country Club

Youngstown Country Club, a private 18-hole course in Ohio, United States, was designed by Walter J. Travis and opened in 1911. The layout moves across gently rolling hills with tree-lined, contoured fairways, a meandering creek, subtle undulations, heavy blue grass roughs, and strategically placed bunkers. The club has hosted a broad range of tournaments, including the Ohio State Golf Tournament, the 25th Open Championship of the Western Golf Association, the Ohio Open Championship, the Western Open, the Women's Ohio Amateur Championship, the LPGA Open Qualifier, and the Men's U.S. Open Qualifier. Practice options include a dedicated putting green and individual and group instruction. The Golf Shop supports a tournament program, junior golf programs, and merchandising. The clubhouse includes a Formal Dining Room, Grille Room, and Terrace Room, alongside a Cocktail Lounge, a Ball Room for large affairs, an East Lounge for small receptions, locker rooms, and two open hearth fireplaces.
