Yoshino Country Club

Yoshino Country Club is an 18-hole hillside course in Oyodo, Nara Prefecture, Japan, laid out across a gently south-sloping natural landscape that plays largely flat underfoot. Each hole is fully separated by Yoshino cedar and pine, giving the round a secluded, wooded feel. The course operates a two-green system — Hime Korai and Bent — with large putting surfaces on both. Tee shots demand careful placement throughout; finding the right landing zone off the tee is the consistent challenge across the layout. Par-finding looks manageable, but second-shot club selection matters, and the greens carry enough undulation to make putting a real test. The climate works in the course's favour: winters are mild with almost no closure from snow, and summers bring cool breezes, making Yoshino Country Club playable and comfortable year-round.
