Yamato Kogen Country Club spreads across roughly 650,000 tsubo of gently rolling highland in Nara Prefecture, offering 36 holes set within the natural hills of the Yamato Plateau. The layout makes the most of the terrain without fighting it. Fairways stretch up to 120 metres wide and stay largely flat, with elevation changes kept within 10 metres per hole. Natural woodland fully separates each hole, and every tee offers a clear sightline to the pin — conditions that invite a full swing from the first shot regardless of ability level. A cart path runs through the centre of the course, and on fine days fairway cart access is available, making the course comfortable for senior players and women golfers as well as low-handicappers. Total course length reaches 7,103 yards across 18 holes at par 72.
