Woolgoolga Golf Club

Woolgoolga Golf Club is an 18-hole par 72 layout set between the Pacific Ocean and Darkum Creek at Safety Beach, New South Wales. The course suits golfers of all levels thanks to generous fairways and reachable greens, though accuracy remains important. Carefully placed bunkers, lakes, and hazards demand attention, and varying ocean breezes add an extra layer of challenge to pin placements that can be deceptively tricky. Two holes stand out in particular. The short par 3 11th requires a carry over water onto a sloping, multi-tiered green. The long par 4 8th presents a different test — an out-of-bounds fence runs the full length of the left side, while a creek and a network of bunkers protect a smallish green. A large population of kangaroos and other native wildlife roam the course, adding a distinctly Australian character to any round.
