Wolf Hollow at The Water Gap Country Club

Wolf Hollow at The Water Gap Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 links-style course stretching 6,237 yards from the tips, opened in 1922 and designed by Robert White. Located in Pennsylvania, United States, the layout sits within 160 acres of woodlands across extremely hilly terrain shaped by the natural features of the Poconos. Three holes stand out. Hole 4, nicknamed Hagen's Folly, is a 120-yard par-3 playing from an elevated tee to an elevated green. Hole 6 is a 418-yard par-4 that plays uphill and effectively runs 50 yards longer. Hole 10 is a 568-yard par-5 with a sloping fairway. The club hosted the Eastern Open from 1926 to 1928. Access is semi-private. Practice options include a dedicated driving range and an instruction program covering individual, group, and playing lessons, plus a Kid's Clinic for ages 10 and under. The Wolf Hollow Dining Room serves hand-cut steaks, seafood, and pasta in a casual setting. The Wolf Hollow Bar is hand-cut from black walnut and carries an extensive liquor inventory, IPAs on draught, and a signature wine list. The pro shop stocks merchandise from Titleist, Foot Joy, Taylor Made, Callaway, and others.
