Description
Windy Knoll Golf Club, a public links course in Springfield, Ohio, was designed by Brian Huntley and opened in 2001. The 18-hole, par-71 layout plays across rolling terrain with water hazards, trees, and rough lining the fairways. Three holes stand out. Hole 3 is a short par five with an eagle opportunity complicated by pond and creek trouble. Hole 12 is a short par three with water short, right, and long. Hole 18 is the longest hole on the course and is reachable in two with the wind at back. Lessons and training are available on site. The Pro Shop carries equipment and apparel. The Stables restaurant offers outdoor seating next to a quiet pond and hosts Friday Night at the Stables with local bands in spring, summer, and fall. The bar on the property was used by Francis Ford Coppola in the Godfather films. Banquet space called The Derby includes a room behind the Pro Shop that fits 150 people.

Awesome course! Will definitely play again. Greens were hard and fast but the read mostly true. Staff was great! A very pleasant afternoon of golf!!!
