Description
Wilmington Municipal Golf Course is a Donald Ross design dating to 1926, built to give the public access to a championship-quality 18-hole layout at affordable prices. A $1.5 million renovation completed in October 2014 returned the course to Ross's original vision. The project doubled the size of the greens, restored the bunkers, and upgraded the cart paths and tee boxes — bringing the design back to the form Ross intended. Rated 4.5 by Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in North Carolina on Hole19, this Wilmington public course is well worth a spot on your tee sheet.
