Wildhorse Golf Club

Wildhorse Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada has hosted the PGA Tour's Sahara Invitational, giving this municipal course a notable place in the region's golf history. Designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, the 18-hole layout plays between 4,995 and 6,525 yards at par 70, with pine and palm lined fairways, lakes, natural desert areas, and mountain views across a flat playing field. Hole 4 is a par-3 where water runs the entire length of the right side and pinches in at the front right of the green. Hole 9 is a par-4 with two lakes hugging opposite sides of the fairway, widely regarded as one of the toughest holes in Las Vegas. The course holds Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary status. Practice options include a natural turf driving range, putting green, and chipping area. The Terrace on the Green is a low-key restaurant and bar on the second floor of the clubhouse.
