Wigwam Golf Resort (Red) was designed by Robert "Red" Lawrence and opened in 1972 in Litchfield Park, Arizona. The 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches to 6,852 yards through pine and eucalyptus trees, with streams and ponds coming into play across the course. The closing stretch of holes 15 through 18 is described by the course as just possibly the toughest final four holes in the Phoenix area. A shared driving range is available, along with instruction through the Bird Golf Academy, Warren Schutte Players Academy, and First Tee of Phoenix. The Golf & Resort Shop has been recognized as a Top Ranked Private Club and Resort Pro Shop by Club + Resort Business. Grind 29 serves breakfast burritos and sandwiches, fresh-baked goodies, and grab-and-go snacks.
