Whispering Creek Golf Club

Whispering Creek Golf Club, a semi-private parkland course in Sioux City, Iowa, was named Iowa Golf Course of the Year in 2007 and has hosted the 2006 Iowa State Amateur Championship and the 2009 Iowa State 4 Ball. The 18-hole layout stretches from 4,855 to 7,175 yards across rolling terrain with elevation changes, natural brome areas, water hazards, and bunkers. Hole 13, a par 3, is defined by four sod-faced bunkers that guard an uphill tee shot. Practice options include a large all-grass driving range with seven different green targets and a fast, undulated putting green. The Barn clubhouse houses a lounge and a roomy banquet facility.
