Westwood Golf Course

Westwood Golf Course is a public 9-hole layout located just a mile west of Interstate 65 on Highway 56 in Scottsburg, Indiana. Designed by Gilbert England and opened in 1966, the course plays just under 3,000 yards from the back tees with a par of 35, a course rating of 35.5, and a slope of 113. Water comes into play on five of the nine holes, adding consistent challenge throughout the round. Hole #6, a par 3, is widely regarded as one of the toughest of its kind in Southern Indiana and serves as the signature hole. The pro shop occupies a remodeled building that was originally the home of founding owner Homer Madden. It carries name-brand equipment from Callaway, Cobra, TaylorMade, and Titleist. A large outdoor deck overlooks seven of the nine holes, making it a comfortable spot to take in the course before or after a round.
