Wembley Golf Course (Tuart)

Wembley Golf Course (Tuart) is one of Australia's best public golf facilities, set among an undulating landscape of Tuart and Banksia trees in Wembley Downs, Western Australia. The Tuart Course has developed since its first nine holes opened in 1959, resulting in a layout that is slightly shorter but tighter than its companion Old Course. Kikuyu fairways and bent grass greens are maintained to a high standard throughout. Located just one kilometre from City Beach, the afternoon sea breeze brings wind into play across the round. The front nine winds through Tuart forest with water in play on four holes. The par 4 5th is a standout, demanding an accurate tee shot before a mid to short iron approach to a green surrounded by water on three sides. The back nine moves through tree-lined fairways where accuracy off the tee is at a premium. Rated 4.3 by Hole19 golfers, this is one of the most-played courses in Western Australia on Hole19.
