Wayne Hills Country Club

Wayne Hills Country Club, designed by E. Lawrence Packer and opened in 1959, is a semi-private 18-hole course in New York, United States. It plays from 5,100 to nearly 6,900 yards across terrain shaped by drumlins, creeks, elevated tees, water hazards, bunkers, and trees. Two holes have been named to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle Dream 18: hole 7, an elevated tee shot requiring accuracy with water left and bunkers right, and hole 17, a dog-leg left par 5 with a large bunker, a creek crossing the fairway, and an elevated green protected by bunkers. The course has also been rated 4 stars by Golf Digest, recognized among the 101 Reasons Why Golf in Rochester is So Great, and featured in The Beauty of Golf in New York State. In 1998, it earned best par 3 in the greater Rochester area. The club hosted the 1974 New York State Amateur. A private driving range is available. The clubhouse restaurant serves burgers, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees in a casual atmosphere with a golf course view, including a Friday Night Fish Fry and a fully stocked bar with bottled beer.
