Wäsby Golf (Skoda)

Wäsby Golf (Skoda) is a well-designed complex in Stockholm County, Sweden, built around the ancient landscape near Nibble by — hole names like Storsten, Fägatan and Hövdingaröset hint at the historical surroundings. The courses were designed by Björn Eriksson of Gävle, one of Sweden's most accomplished golf course architects. He shaped a layout that is both varied and visually appealing, with fast greens and strategically placed hazards that reward careful play and punish reckless risks in equal measure. The first nine holes opened in 1992, with the full eighteen ready the following year. In July 2010, a further six-hole short course with artificial turf was added, designed for year-round play. This 9-hole track is part of a wider 27-plus-6-hole facility, offering plenty of options regardless of how much time you have.
