Description
Ventura Country Club is an 18-hole semi-private course in Orlando, Florida, designed by Mark Mahanna and opened in 1981. The layout moves through pines, canals, natural wetlands, and sand traps, with water hazards in play across multiple holes. Hole 6 is a par 5 with a forced carry over water, a fairway bunker, a jail house of palms, and a hard dogleg left. Hole 16 is a par 3 stretching 212 yards from the tips, with an elevated green guarded by water on both sides and two greenside bunkers. Ventura Country Club holds a 93.7% rating on Golf Advisor in Central Florida and is one of the most-played courses in Florida on Hole19. The fully stocked pro shop carries Titleist, Cobra, Ping, Nike, and Puma equipment, alongside apparel from Footjoy, Greg Norman, Page and Tuttle, and Monterey.
