Description
Varadero Golf Club, the only 18-hole links course in Cuba, was designed by Les Furber and plays to par 72 over 6,269 metres in Varadero. The layout runs along the coast, and the links character means open exposure throughout the round. Practice facilities include a 300-metre driving range, a putting green, a short game area with one chipping green and two bunkers, and a Golf Academy offering individual and group lessons for all ages. Restaurante Xanadú specialises in French and international cuisine and has held a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence since 2014. A panoramic bar on the third floor looks out over the sea and the course.
