Description
Vallda Golf & Country Club was born from a shared vision in the mid-1990s, when four founders set out to create a British heathland-style course near Kungsbacka in Halland County, Sweden. After an extensive search, they settled on Valldadalen — 86 hectares of meadowland surrounded by oak forest, roughly ten kilometres west of the city. Renowned golf architect Martin Hawtree was brought in to design the layout. The first nine holes opened in May 2009, with the full 18-hole course ready for play just two months later. The course is rated 4.6 by Hole19 golfers and is one of the most-played courses in Halland County on Hole19.
