University of Michigan Golf Course

Rated one of the most-played courses in Michigan on Hole19, the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor draws consistent attention from golfers across the state. Designed by Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1931, this 18-hole semi-private layout moves through hills, stately trees, and plush rough. MacKenzie's routing has held up well enough to host the NCAA Final in 1947, Big Ten Championships, and the NCAA Women's Golf Regional in 2022. The practice range, practice greens, and sand traps are reserved for the intercollegiate golf teams and are not available to general play. The clubhouse includes a reconfigured pro shop, team rooms, coaching offices, varsity locker facilities for both the women's and men's teams, and refreshment areas.
